Mission of the Service

• Consultations (1^st and following consultations)
• Performance of surgical interventions (Operating Room and Outpatient Surgery)
• Performance of treatments in postoperative patients (wounds, ulcers, bedsores, skin tumours, etc.)
• Internal/external control of service quality;
• Motivation of employees;
• Participation in undergraduate and post-graduate teaching.

Production from 2004 to May 2012:

• Outpatient Consultations
  - A total of 8,996 consultations
• Central Operating Room and Outpatients Surgery
  - A total of 1,069 Hospitalisations and Surgeries

Educational Activity

Professor of the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Beira Interior.
Teaches the 5^th year in Medical School.
Scientific and Research Activity
Participation in scientific conferences with oral participations and posters.
