RESEARCH AND INNOVATION OFFICE

Mission

The Research and Innovation Office of Centro Hospitalar Cova da Beira, EPE, is a research unit, set up under the Board of Directors of CHCB, EPE, and is dedicated to scientific research in the field of health, the provision of services to the community and the disclosure and application of the results of that research.

These functions are undertaken through the development of research projects in health carried out by Office researchers.

Objectives

The Research and Innovation Office of CHCB, EPE, aims to achieve the following objectives:

1. Conduct research in the field of health;
2. Disclose the results of research in health among the scientific community and health agents;
3. Support research projects leading to master's and PhD theses in the research areas of the Office;
4. Manage the relevant information in the field of health research;
5. Support the presentation and publication of scientific works resulting from projects developed within the scope of the Office;
6. Optimise the services supporting the research work in terms of economy and resources;
7. Encourage and support the presentation of projects to apply for funding granted by public or private entities.
